Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (by Robert)

Cast : Logan Lerman  (Percy Jackson);   Brandon T. Jackson  (Grover Underwood);
          Alexandra Daddario (Anabbeth Chase); Jake Abel  (Luke Castellan); Douglas Smith (Tyson)

Director : Thor Freudenthal

Synopsis : Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is a great way of bringing back the excitement and laughs into a much better film than the first in the series (Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief). In the latest film a prophesy says that a child of Zeus, Poseidon or Hades will either destroy or save half-bloods. And after the barrier which protects the half-bloods is broken, Percy, Grover and Annabeth are going on another adventure of a lifetime.

In this film a new character, Tyson, a Cyclops who happens to be Percy's cousin, accompanies them. All through the film he is clumsy and stupid, but he is also strong, brave and even saves Percy.

Review : Now a new director brings Percy Jackson to life on the big screen again. But this time he introduces new characters and the film has a better story.

Throughout the film new things are revealed which makes you want to watch on and there is something for everyone, whether they like comedy, action and adventure. As I watched, I could hear giggling, gasping and I even heard a few grown-ups crying.

My favourite bit was the ending because it left you wondering what was going to happen next.

There were certain bits I didn't understand. In the first film Annabeth had black hair and in the second film she is blonde. And in the first film Luke nearly created a war between the gods and in the second film he is still being treated nicely and is still behind the barrier in Camp Half-Blood.

But overall I would say the film is a must see and I would rate it 4 and three quarter stars.
